CFE Talent shine in nominations for The International Woolmark Prize

The Woolmark Company has announced the nominees for the International Woolmark Prize.

As one of the official nominating bodies, we are delighted to announce the nominees for the British Isles region, with 6 of the 7 nominees current and alumni designers of CFE programmes:

There were also nominations for 2 of our international designers – Bashaques’ who participated in the YOTA programme and Peggy Hartanto from the CFE Indonesia programme.

The Woolmark Company is reinforcing its commitment to supporting emerging design talent by enhancing the prize money for the prestigious International Woolmark Prize. The restructure of the award also shines a spotlight on the textile mills assisting in developing innovative wool fabric and yarn, with the introduction of an Innovation Award.

Prize money for the two eventual winners has also increased, with the global menswear and womenswear winner each receiving AU$200,000.
